St. Hyacinth Odrowąż

Klęczący zakonnik w biało-czarnym habicie.
Stemming from an old aristocratic family, Hyacinth (1183–1257) was a Dominican monk that was personally accepted into the order by St. Dominic. He established the first monastery of the Dominican Order in Poland (in Krakow at the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity). He was canonized in 1594 and his feast day falls on August 17. The relics of St. Hyacinth are interred in a chapel in the Dominican Church in Krakow.
