For 10 years from 1905 a famous Galician cabaret “Zielony Balonik” (the Green Balloon) performed there – it gathered Bohemian circles which used to ridicule false morality of the Kraków bourgeois. Art Nouveau café inside was expanded and redecorated in 1910. The decor preserved until now bears the traces of the Young Poland period. On the walls there are caricatures, landscapes, regular customers’ and the cabaret co-originators’ drawings.
