Goja – a vineyard on the border of the Ojców National Park.

The vineyard in Smardzowice is situated to the north-west of the Ojców National Park on a slightly inclined southern slope, which below drops down a steep scarp towards the Prądnik Valley, which is deep at this point. It offers a majestic view of Krakow, and in good weather conditions one can even see the Tatra Mountains. The area is distinguished not only by what for Polish standards is the high density of vineyards, but also by the specific conditions for vine cultivation. Several types of vines are grown on the plantation for red and white wines – Seyval Blanc, Solaris, Swenson Red, Jutrzenka, and Kristaly. The Goja Vineyard has its own nursery where it produces vine cuttings, specialising in the production of cuttings of classic French hybrids such as Seyval Blanc, Leon Millot and Marechal Foch. All of them are adapted to the Polish cold climate conditions and tolerate low temperatures well. The vineyard offers tours and wine tastings in situ, among the vines or in its own winery.
